Troop 61 has kicked off the new school year with the Scouts working on the Archery merit badge! Scouts learned the rules and regulations of the range and the different working parts of a bow. Also, the boys learned how to make their own arrows. For the final requirement, Scouts went to West Town Archery to shoot recurve bows. The boys got some nice bullseyes and even one Robinhood. Thank you to West Town Archery for allowing us to use their range for our Archery merit badge!
